As we go through life with all the heavy duties and responsibilities and the hassle and bustles of life, we often find ourselves losing our bearings. Like the wheels of the car we drive, they soon go out of alignment resulting in greater wear and tear and the car tends to swerve due to the wheels being out of alignment with each other and with the chassis of the car. We need to constantly realign our lives with the word of God
Cartier Replica . Not doing so we often find life can be rather frustrating and meaningless. We then lose the purpose of life. I would like to share 6 things about realigning our lives.
1. I am alive in Christ (Ephesians 2:5)
God has made us alive again in Christ. We are not dead in sin anymore. The devil may often tell you that there is no point clinging on to your faith because you are so sinful, so worthless. You cannot come near a divine God because you are a mere mortal. God is far away in heaven and you are on earth. A God who is so great will not even notice you let alone care for you. These are the lies that Satan will tell you. But the scripture says otherwise. We are being made alive with Christ even when we are dead in trespasses. We are alive together with Christ. If God made us alive He has a purpose for us.
2. I am a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Not only we are alive now, we are also a new creation. The old has passed away, behold the new has come. Gal 2:20 says we have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer we who live but Christ lives in us. We are a new creation. We should let our past be past. Focus on the future as a new creation of God.
3. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21)
It is very comforting to know that God counts us as righteous in Christ. This is very important. We cannot come near to God when we are not righteous. God is holy; we are unholy. But God in His mercy found a way to make us righteous so that we can be reconciled with Him. He did that through His son Jesus.
4. I am greatly loved by God (Ephesians 2:4)
The bible says God not only just loves us but also loves us with a great love. It is because of such great love of God that He made us alive in Christ. Col 3:12 says we are God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved by Him.
As God’s chosen people we must reflect His character in our lives. Put on a compassionate heart, be kind to one another, be patient with one another and above all live a life with humility full of meekness both before God and man.
5. I am God’s workmanship, created in Christ for good works (Ephesians 2:10)
Our new life in Christ is a workmanship of God. It is not our own doing but rather by the grace of God we are given this new life. Our new life is to be a holy life. Don’t feel or imagine that you are of no value and are useless. God made us for good works. Neither must you think too highly of yourself and be too proud of your abilities and talents. Remember you are the workmanship of God; not your own doing. You may be born with a special gift but remember God formed you while you were still in your mother’s womb. You are who you are now is because God made you. Ps 139:13 For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
6. I am more than a conqueror through Him who loves me (Romans 8:37)
Feeling defeated often? Unable to move forward due to the pressures in life? Rom 8:37 says we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Phil 4:13 says we can do all things through Jesus who strengthens us. Spend time alone with God daily and make known to Him your problems with sincere faith and He will respond with compassion and incline His ear to you and strengthen you. He will give you the strength & courage to move on with the
